Taking this mandate to heart was all the motivation they needed to then take the base of their EcoMezuzah (which was made from reclaimed, fallen aspen pine branches) and decorate them with a combination of natural objects from around Camp Coleman and other dried flowers and leaves. The end result are the beautiful “Eco-Mezuzot” that the campers and counselors can take home with them, complete with the scroll of the Shema/V’ahavta rolled up inside!
